Google Campus, Barrow Street, Dublin 4

 

John Spain Associates were appointed by Montevetro Ltd as planning consultants and to prepare an Environmental Impact Assessment in respect of the Google Docks building. We submitted a comprehensive Section 25 application in respect of this strategic site at Barrow Street, Dublin 4 which was subsequently granted by the Dublin Docklands Development Authority. John Spain Associates subsequently co-ordinated the design team in ensuring compliance with the Section 25 Certificate, including the making of a number of  applications for amendments to the original Section 25 Certificate.

Upon the purchase of the site by Google Ireland Ltd, John Spain Associates were retained as planning consultants by Google.  John Spain Associates co-ordinated the preparation of an application for amendments to the building to meet the occupational needs of Google. Planning permission was granted by Dublin City Council in January 2012.

John Spain Associates also act for Google in respect of their adjacent properties at Gordon House and Gasworks, which together with the Movtevetro building form the Google headquarters in Dublin.
