Since the introduction of Strategic Housing Developments (SHDs) in 2017, JSA has under taken a range of SHD applications for a variety of clients, throughout the country, including student housing, built-to-rent and shared living models.
This has amounted to 20 approved schemes for over 5,800 units so far.
JSA’s role in these applications have involved; pre-planning and planning applications, meetings, social infrastructure assessments, opinion responses, input on EIARs, statements of material contravention, statements of consistency, coordinating and compiling applications and planning reports.
This has lead to an impressive track record of successful SHDs in prominent locations and the development of a reliant method of handling these large scale and precise applications, in an efficient manner.
