Mary Mac Mahon has been a town planner for 26 years, working in the private, public and community sector. Previously employed by Marlet Property Group, Mary has brought 45 sites to planning permission in three years, creating a pipeline of development of 6,000 residential unit, over a million square feet of office development, student accommodations, hotels etc. Mary previously served as a member of An Bórd Pleanála for 7 years and has worked for public sector bodies such as the OPW, the Heritage Council and local authorities, together with community groups and Local Development Partnerships.
Mary has also lectured part time and acted as external examiner for DIT.
Mary has additional qualifications in Planning and Environmental Law, Environmental Engineering, EIA/SEA and Marine Spatial Planning and Management. Mary also served as Hon. Secretary to the Irish Planning Institute and continues to be an active member.
