Ina joined John Spain Associates in September 2025 and has experience in the private planning consultancy sector in Ireland and most recently Australia, having spent over two years working in planning in Sydney. Ina is expert in the preparation and lodgement of planning applications, particularly in the residential and mixed-use sector, as well as Urban Design studies and reviews. Ina is also skilled in preparing submissions, site appraisals and feasibility studies and planning appeals, as well as various other planning reports.
Ina holds a BA Hons in Geography and German from Trinity College Dublin, an MSc in Human Geography specialising in Urban Geography from Utrecht University in the Netherlands and a Masters in Regional and Urban Planning (MRUP) from UCD, completing the final semester of the MRUP at the University of Sydney, Australia. Ina is a Graduate Member of the Irish Planning Institute and Licentiate Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
