Massab joined the company in June 2025 as a Graduate Planner & GIS Consultant. Massab is a Graduate Member of Irish Planning Institute (IPI), Licentiate Member of Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and a Member of Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planner (PCATP).
Massab obtained a First Class Honours BS City and Regional Planning (BsCRP) in 2022 from University of Management and Technology (UMT), Pakistan and Masters in Regional and Urban Planning (MRUP) in 2025 from University College Dublin (UCD). During his academic career, Massab engaged in a wide range of research and practical work, with a particular focus on planning applications, development plans, local area plans, GIS application in planning, environmental consideration in planning, residential schemes, and mixed-use developments. Prior to joining JSA Planning, Massab gained planning experience in Pakistan, where he contributed to the design components of planning documentation, ensuring compliance with local bylaws and facilitating planning application submissions. He also worked as a GIS Specialist, undertaking various forms of spatial analysis including site surveys, site assessments, database management, and the development of land information systems.
Since joining JSA Planning, Massab has been responsible for database creation and management to support various analytical requirements for planning applications. He is actively involved in the preparation of planning applications, appeals, submissions, and appraisals. His project experience spans a range of development types, including residential, retail, large-scale residential developments, and mixed-use schemes. Additionally, he has undertaken several social and community audits, contributing to the broader assessment of development impacts.
