Overview
JSA Planning prepared the Meath County Retail Strategy to guide retail development and ensure that key centres, particularly Navan, fulfill their role as set out in the Retail Planning Guidelines.

The strategy:
- Provides advice on the quantum, scale, and type of retail development required in Co. Meath
- Analyses existing shopping patterns and expenditure leakage based on household and shopper surveys
- Includes key policies and objectives to protect and enhance town centres and guide retail development over the lifetime of the strategy
Outcome
The strategy established a clear framework for sustainable retail growth in Meath, supporting town centre vitality and reducing expenditure leakage.
