Overview
JSA Planning secured planning permission for a Strategic Housing Development (SHD) comprising 289 student bedspaces across two blocks on brownfield lands at Rathdown Road, Dublin 7, adjacent to the Grangegorman Luas Green Line stop and near the TUD Grangegorman Campus.

JSA Planning Role
JSA undertook a full development appraisal, provided strategic planning advice, coordinated pre-application consultations, and managed the preparation and lodgement of the SHD application to An Bord Pleanála. Following consultation, the Board approved an increased number of bedspaces and building height compared to the original concept.
Outcome
Permission was granted by An Bord Pleanála, with the development now complete and operational. It also connects seamlessly with the Highfield Park PBSA scheme to the north, for which JSA had previously secured planning permission in 2017.
