Overview
JSA Planning acted as planning consultants on behalf of Kennedy Wilson for the redevelopment of the former Leisureplex site on Old Dublin Road, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin. Planning permission was granted for a Build-To-Rent Strategic Housing Development ranging from 4 to 8 storeys, comprising 232 apartment units along with a mix of retail and restaurant/café uses. The development also includes a public plaza and extensive public realm upgrades, such as improved footpaths, parking, loading bays and landscaping.
JSA Planning Role
JSA prepared and coordinated the planning application, including the EIAR and associated planning documentation. Following the initial grant of permission, JSA successfully secured multiple amendment permissions and continues to advise on compliance matters and potential future tenants.
Outcome
The Cornerstone development has been completed to a high standard, delivering a high-quality residential and mixed-use scheme that enhances Stillorgan’s urban character. Ongoing advice from JSA continues to support the successful operation and future evolution of the development.
