Elahe Saki

Elahe joined John Spain Associates in September 2024, bringing with her nine years of post-qualification experience in urban design, town planning, and research. Throughout her career as a planning consultant in Ireland, she has worked on a diverse range of projects for both public and private sectors. Her expertise includes the preparation and submission of planning applications, Statutory Plan submissions, planning appeals, Housing Strategies & Housing Needs Demand Assessments (HNDAs), as well as Urban Design projects.

Elahe has contributed to several key projects, including the County Laois and County Galway Housing Strategies & HNDAs, Portarlington Urban Regeneration Strategy, Killaloe-Ballina Town Enhancement & Mobility Plan, and (Draft) Milltown Town Centre First Masterplan. In these projects, she effectively utilised her statistical and geospatial analysis skills, applying data-driven insights and GIS tools to support evidence-based decision-making and enhance project outcomes.

She holds a BA in Urban Planning from Guilan University, Rasht, a Master’s in Urban Design from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, and a Master’s in Regional and Urban Planning from University College Dublin. Elahe is a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute (MIPI) and a Licentiate Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
