
Under the Strategic Housing Development process, JSA formed part of a team who secured planning permission for 257 student bedspaces on under-utilised brownfield lands at Parnell Street and Temple Lane North, Dublin 1. The proposals included the restoration and refurbishment of a protected structure at the former St. Peter’s Bakery fronting Parnell Street and the construction of sensitively designed student accommodation blocks to the rear.
JSA provided strategic planning advice to our client and navigated pre-application consultation with Dublin City Council and An Bord Pleanála prior to coordinating and managing the submission of a planning application to the Board. Planning permission was granted by ABP and the development is currently under construction.
