Overview

John Spain Associates provided planning consultancy services to Park Developments for the development of a significant residential zoned land bank on Ballyogan Road, adjacent to the Luas Green Line.

JSA Planning Role

JSA secured planning permission for:

  • Phase 1: Approximately 430 residential units and associated amenities through the Section 34 application process.
  • Phase 1C: Amendment application via the SHD process for approximately 190 apartments.
  • Phase 2: SHD application for approximately 930 residential units, a neighbourhood facility, and associated amenities and infrastructure.
  • JSA also coordinated the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports for both Phase 1 and Phase 2.

Outcome

The development includes an Ecopark and a significant section of the Clay Farm Loop Road, contributing to a well-integrated residential community with supporting infrastructure.
