Overview
JSA Planning acted as planning consultants for Park Developments for a Strategic Housing Development on lands associated with Glencairn House.
JSA Planning Role
JSA coordinated an EIAR and secured permission for 341 residential units, a childcare facility, internal roads, pedestrian and cycle paths, and open space. Key aspects included relocating the Entrance Portal for improved access, integrating Murphystown Castle ruins into public open space, and retaining mature trees.
Prior to this, JSA provided planning services for security upgrades at the British Ambassador’s residence to facilitate the wider development.
Outcome
Permission was granted by An Bord Pleanála under ABP Ref.: 302580-18, enabling a substantial residential development within the curtilage of a protected structure.
