Overview
Hamilton Gardens is a major residential-led masterplan located on former railway lands in Cabra, Dublin 7. The scheme delivers 485 apartments, a new neighbourhood centre, and 3,500 m² of commercial and retail space, set within a series of landscaped courtyards and high-quality public realm. Buildings range up to eight storeys, creating a contemporary urban quarter that supports compact city growth and strengthens connections within the surrounding community.
JSA Planning Role
JSA Planning developed the planning strategy for this large brownfield site and led the full SHD application process. The team coordinated the multidisciplinary design and technical inputs, managed engagement with Dublin City Council and An Bord Pleanála, and addressed key considerations around height, density, access, and integration with future transport infrastructure.
