JSA coordinated the planning application and managed the process through pre-application consultation with the planning authority, successfully securing planning permission for 463 student bedspaces on a brownfield, infill site at 107-115 Dorset Street Upper, Dublin 1.
The proposals included the regeneration of a vacant inner city site and the provision of high-quality purpose-built student accommodation in close proximity to city centre third level institutions.
The proposal includes active frontage to Dorset Street including retail / café / restaurant / gym uses as well as extensive internal amenities and facilities for student use. A final grant from Dublin City Council was secured, with no third party appeals. The development is now complete and operational.
