John Spain Associates were responsible for the co-ordination and lodgement of a successful planning application for a mixed use scheme of c. 34,000 sq.m (GFA) of floorspace, comprising academic accommodation for Trinity College Dublin, commercial office space and retail units. John Spain Associates coordinated the preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement (now EIAR) which accompanied the application. Planning permission was approved by Dublin City Council and subsequently upheld by An Bord Pleanála following third party appeals.
