Overview
JSA Planning are experienced in the coordination of applications for large scale solar PV applications in the form of stand-alone solar applications and as part of ‘energy park’ type developments alongside large energy user developments.
JSA Planning Role
JSA Planning have coordinated detailed pre-application consultation and stakeholder engagement, along with the preparation of detailed planning applications for proposed solar PV installations. These projects have ranged in scale from c. 10MW to projects of over 100MW.
Outcome
These solar projects, for a range of renewable energy clients, will help to decarbonise the electricity grid through the addition of further renewable energy supply, supporting efforts to reduce the Green House Gas intensity of electricity in the state, and reduce reliance on fossil fuels and energy imports. This assists in the realisation of the Government’s Climate Action Plans and the Sectoral Emissions Ceilings.
